Q: How do I make an appointment?

Q: Who can be seen in this clinic?
A: Katie Rubin APRN is currently licensed to see patients in Kentucky and Indiana. Women can be seen in person at the office: 3924 S. Dupont Sq, Ste D, Louisville, KY 40207 or virtually if located in Indiana or Kentucky.
Q: What conditions would I seek treatment at this clinic for?
A: The clinic focuses on treatment of conditions related to hormonal changes occurring during perimenopause and menopause. The symptoms include but are not limited to:
+ irregular menstrual cycles, heavy bleeding
+ brain fog, insomnia, restless legs, leg cramping
+ vaginal dryness, painful sex, itchiness, UTIs
+ skin and hair changes, vision changes, itchy ears
+ mood changes like irritability, rage, anxiety, depression, low libido.
Q: What kinds of treatment does the clinic offer?
A: Treatment always includes:
+ counseling and education
+ lifestyle recommendations promoting health and wellness
Treatment is otherwise individualized but often also includes:
+ hormonal and non-hormonal treatments.
+ medications that may be oral, transdermal, vaginal, or injectable
+ recommendations for supplements and compounded medications when an FDA approved alternative is not available.
Q: What treatments does the clinic NOT offer?
A: This clinic does NOT:
+ prescribe or place pellets
+ insert or remove IUDs
+ perform pelvic exam or pap smear
+ prescribe compounded GLPs
Q: Will my provider at Act Two Women's Wellness replace my PCP, OB/GYN, or Mental Health Provider?
A: No. Patients will continue to maintain their relationships with their general health provider, women's health provider, and mental health provider. This clinic is a specialty clinic that acts as an adjunct to the general or specialty care you may already be receiving. Our office is happy to have a collaborative relationship with your other providers to ensure your safety and continuity of care.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: No.
+ Provider fees are not submitted to insurance and must be paid at the time of the visit. They can be paid using FSA/HSA, cash, credit/debit, or Venmo.
+ Patients are welcome to use insurance for medications, labs, or testing that may be ordered, however, our office may charge additional fees for time spent on prior authorizations or negotiations with insurance.
